An Evening at SPAC
Sunday, September 19 - Matchbox 20 Concert
The traffic was intense... so next time I
will leave earlier. It has been nearly 15 years since I've been to
a rock concert. SPAC's website was confusing, I could not find the
event schedule for the concert, as I did not know that special events
were under the acronym: SFX. We missed 7 Mary Seven. As I
walked through the gates, they told me I was not going to be allowed in
with my camera. As my camera costs $900, we decided to return to
the car (parked 25 minutes away... ) After 2 minutes walking I hid
the camera in my shorts (swore not to use it) and returned to the
gates... phew... we got in.
I decided not to use the camera and
violate SPACS rules (my advice don't bring a camera). The lawn was
packed... next time I'll buy seats or show up an hour early with a BIG
blanket that people can walk on with muddy shoes.
The concert was AWESOME, I felt
like a kid again. I sat between other "adults in the 30-50 year
range" and kids (15 year range). Highly recommended! Go
to SPAC for a fun night!
