LAKE GEORGE NY

About the Lake George Region\

  • Lake George Village & Town (where all the shops are), cruise ships, watersports,
    events, nightlife, museums and FUN!

  • Bolton Landing - a very upscale section on the lake, north of the village, home to the five star Sagamore Resort (a quieter location). About 15 minutes north of the village.

  • Diamond Point - only five miles north of Lake George, on the Lake, quieter area.

  • Warrensburg - five miles south of Lake George, not on the Lake, but a nice little town in the Adirondacks. In October, Home to the Worlds Largest Garage Sale!

  • Lake Luzerne - five miles east on beautiful Lake Vanare- a peaceful area

  • The Adirondacks - Mountains, lakes and streams, the Adirondacks have a personality all it's own. Famous for the Adirondack Chairs, beautiful, gracious camps and great hiking, whitewater rafting and skiing.

  • Saratoga Springs, New York - Year-round, this town is alive with excitement. Horseracing in the summer is the number one attraction, but this beautiful town has much to offer like upscale boutiques, events nearly every weekend and fabulous convention facilities

  • Glen Lake, NY --just 5 miles south of Lake George Village near Great Escape, beautiful small lake.

  • Town of Lake George - When we state that a lodging property is in the town of Lake George, that means they are in the immediate area surrounding the village of Lake George (where the shops and restaurants are) they are probably 1 blocks to 1 mile from the shopping, restaurants etc.  However, most lodging properties in the town are serviced by the Lake George trolley, so you won't have to drive if you don't want to.
